BitHabit accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the BitHabit wellbeing app.
1. Accessibility of the service
BitHabit’s accessibility aims to ensure that as many users as possible – including the elderly and people with disabilities – can use the app smoothly and without barriers. The design and implementation of the application has taken particular account of levels A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. BitHabit is intended for use on mobile devices. When used on a computer, not all functions are available via keyboard functions.
2. Current state of accessibility
BitHabit’s accessibility for web pages must be partially achieved according to the WCAG 2.1 level AA requirements. The following accessibility measures have been implemented in the application:
– Clear and consistent navigation structures.
– Adequate colour contrast between text and background.
– Text responses (alt texts) for all relevant images and icons.
– The main functions of the application are available using only the keyboard and/or screen reader.
– Big enough buttons and interactive elements.
– The instructions and error messages are formulated in a clear and understandable way.
– Accessibility requirements are integrated into Wellpro’s product development processes
3. Identifiable shortcomings
– Perhaps some of the less common functions are not always fully accessible on the screen reader.
– On some pages/information structures, minor shortcomings have been identified in the headings and the logical order of the elements.
– Testing of the application is ongoing and is done before the latest updates are released.
4. Developing accessibility
Accessibility development is an ongoing process. The BitHabit team regularly monitors and improves the accessibility of the application, and user feedback is actively used in the repair and development work.We actively follow the development of EU directives.
